If you have purchased or own property in Rocky R.E.A. Ltd. service area and are planning on doing any construction or building which will require electricity, please contact us at 1-888-845-4616 or 403-845-4600. New Service Form
New Owner of Property:
To receive electric service you need to complete an application for membership. Prior to having an account transferred into your name please contact the office at 1-888-845-4616 or 403-845-4600. You will be required to do the following:
•Fill out the Connection application (Click link below).
•Provide us with a meter reading and meter identification number
Connection Services
If you move off the system Rocky R.E.A. Ltd. need a meter number, the meter reading, which Rocky R.E.A. Ltd. staff will do, the date you are moving, and a forwarding address. You are responsible for the bill until a final meter read is done. (Disconnect application can be done from the web site click below)
Disconnection Services
New Renter:
If you are moving to the Rocky R.E.A. Ltd. service area and will be renting a home, acreage, farm, you will need to do the following:
• Fill out an application for electric service for rental property. (This can be done from our web site click below)
• A deposit of $500.00 is required.
• Provide us with a meter reading and meter identification number (if known)
Connection Services
Landlords:
Please keep us informed when renters move in and out of your property. We will need a final meter reading and a forwarding address for their final billing. We also need to keep your records current with your address and phone number in the event that we need to contact you. If a renter is going to be disconnected for non-payment, we make every attempt possible to contact the landlord before the service is actually disconnected.
