Rocky Rural Power is the Retail Energy Division of Rocky REA. The Alberta Department of Energy is phasing out the stable Regulated Rate design starting July 1, 2006. In order to maintain stable competitive rates for our members into the future, a division, Rocky Rural Power was formed. Rocky Rural Power provides REA members with additional retail energy choice and promotes fair retail energy competition in the changing Alberta Electric Industry.Our current rate is 7.8 cents per kilowatt hour. This is subject to change and there are other charges that will appear on your bill.
